Chris Tedesco reveals the true side of the sport’s best athletes

Unlike skateboarding and most other sports, it’s impossible to put a face to a name when an FMX athlete is riding. In the public’s eye, FMX is all about the tricks that are done on the bike and less about the athletes that are doing those tricks. In my eyes, the actual athletes are just as important as the tricks they perform and we try to showcase that as much as possible here at ESPN FMX. That’s why I asked ESPN Action photographer Chris Tedesco to round up his favorite athlete portraits for a different type of photo gallery.
