Rest In Peace – Jeff “OX” Kargola

It is with great sadness that we report the loss of one of our regular riders, Jeff “OX” Kargola. Jeff, a standing member of the Metal Mulisha was riding in Baja for the “Rip to the Tip” series and was in an accident that claimed his life.

Although Jeff was a member of the Metal Mulisha and a Boost Mobile Athlete, his talent and energy trancended that on a daily basis.  Among the other riders and people in the industry, Jeff was considered one of the busiest riders out there.  Many of us followed his life and dreamed that we could be doing what he was doing.  Be it racing in the LORRS series in his General Tire truck, appearing on West Coast Customs to have his Tundra souped up, riding with the Nuclear Cowboyz, our tour, X-Games, the Mulisha, winning the Baja 1000 Pro Motorcycle division with Colton Udall or just surfing near his home in San Clemente, California (many times all in one week!), Jeff always pretty much held it together.  Jeff always worked hard, trained hard, rode hard, played hard and had what seemed to be endless bravery on the machine.  Yet, he was always very mellow with a dry wit and sense of humor that could be dificult to follow.

Reports are that he suffered life threatening injuries while working on “Rip to the Tip” a FuelTV series and passed while being treated.

We at Freestylemx.com are reflecting on the joy and good times that Ox brought to our lives and hope that you will do the same. Goodbye buddy- enjoy the ride. -The staff of Freestylemx.com
