The final showdown
Only two riders are left in the fight for the Red Bull X-Fighters World Tour championship: Tom Pagès and Clinton Moore will have to go all-in to win this title. Whoever places best will walk home with the crown!
Levi Sherwood had theoretical chances left for the championship as well, but unfortunately had to pull out before the event due to the same injury that has kept him away from the fourth round in Pretoria. He will be replaced by german teenie sensation Luc Ackermann, who proved his big bags of tricks at Red Bull X-Fighters in Munich last year. Sherwoods absence will open the doors for an epic battle for the 3rd place in the championships between David Rinaldo, reigning champion Josh Sheehan and Rob Adelberg.
But Dany Torres, Maikel Melero, Taka Higashino, Remi Bizouard, Javier Villegas and Libor Podmol, who is giving his first Red Bull X-Fighters appearance of this season, are all set to use their last chance to make it to the podium this year.
