FC Bayern Munich

After a spectacular result for FC Bayern Munich with a historic soccer win this week, the sporting world would again look to Munich for the return of the NIGHT of the JUMPs European Championships, with a fresh race for the overall leadership.

The German crowd were treated to a special showing of some of the best German riders to grace the NOTJ roster, including home-town rider Lukas Weis, and the Ackermann brothers, Hannes and Luc. Hannes put together a solid run including the 360, but it was not enough for the final. However for the younger brother, Luc, he had the greatest chance to move up the European Championship rankings after currently sitting in 4th place and the two highest contender’s, Remi Bizouard (FRA) and Petr Pilat (CZE) unable to attend. But for Luc, his night ended quickly when he under-rotated a 360 and ejected to the hard Munich dirt. Luc stepped to his feet immediately with no injuries.

After straightening his bike out, Luc returned to the LifeProof Best Whip competition and made it to the final from a 6-rider shoot-out, and it came down to a battle of the Germans. Lukas Weis threw everything he had to win in his home-town, but the younger Ackermann was just too good this time to take the win, leaving Munich with sweet and sour memories.
